Friendly Menu
Each of the nine main games on the
CD-ROM are easily accessible with the simple, kid-friendly
menu. The name of each activity is voiced whenever the
mouse rolls over its icon, so even very young children
will have no trouble finding their favorite games. The
program runs in full-screen mode on your system, so
there are no distractions.

Customizable by Parent or Teacher
Each item on the menu can be turned
on or off by the parent or teacher using a simple setup
screen. Simply click the checkbox next to an item and
it will be removed. This feature allows you to personalize
the software for your own child. Even the exit button
can be removed to keep small children from accidentally
leaving the games. These settings are saved for the
next time your student uses the CD.

Mel's Counting Game
This brand new counting game is similar
to "Count Your Chickens", but with a much
wider variety of things to count. There are four levels
of difficulty, so your child can use this game over
and over again.

Alphabet Action
This is a popular game on our website,
and now it is available on CD-ROM. It is similar to
an alphabet picture book, complete with voices and animations.
Click a letter and see a graphic or animation for that
letter.

Alphabet Out of Order
Have fun putting the alphabet back
in order by playing this fast-paced game. The alphabet
is displayed on the screen with several letters missing.
It is your job to correctly place each letter as it
is delivered to you by the robot.
There are seven rounds in all, and
by the seventh and final round there are no letters
on the alphabet. You must completely assemble the alphabet
from scratch!

Phonics Memory Games
This is a set of four concentration-style
games which reinforce the relationship betweeen uppercase
and lowercase letters, letters and letter sounds, and
letters and pictures. Letters and items are voiced,
making this a good tool for phonics practice.
Each game has two levels of difficulty,
displaying either 12 or 20 cards.

The Case of the Missing Letters
There are ten words with letters missing.
A picture is displayed, the word for the picture is
voiced, and one or more letters is missing. The child
must choose the letter which correctly completes the
word.
There are ten variations to this game,
including short and long vowels, initial consonants,
consonant blends, and more.

The Case of the Missing Words
This game is similar in operation to
the Missing Letters game described above. In this game,
the entire word is missing. A picture is displayed,
the word for the picture is voiced, and three similar
words are presented. The child
must read the words and decide which is the correct
word for the picture.

consonant blends, and more.

CritterMaker
Your child will enjoy making their
own cartoon critter by combining different tops and
bottoms, adjusting the height and width, and changing
the color.
The results can be printed and shared
with friends and family.

TimeWorks
This is a set of four activities designed
to help children learn to tell time on an analog clock.
Play Time lets the child set
an analog clock to any time, and see the same time displayed
on a digital clock.
Make Time displays a clock with
no numbers, and asks the child to place the numbers
in the correct locations around the clock face.
Set Time displays a digital
clock with a time, and asks the child to set the clock
to that time. There are 10 questions in each activity.
The child may choose times in one hour, half hour, quarter
hour, ten minute, five minute, or one minute intervals.
Tell Time displays an analog
clock set to a time, and asks the child to choose the
correct time. The child may choose times in one hour,
half hour, quarter hour, ten minute, five minute, or
one minute intervals.

MoneyWorks
These games are designed to help children
learn the names and the values of the main U.S. coins.
There are ten questions in each activity.
Coin Names asks the the child
to place specific denominations of coins into a piggy
bank. The child may choose activities containing pennies
and nickels, nickels and dimes, dimes and quarters,
quarters and half-dollars, all coins, or multiple coins.
Coin Values asks the child to
place a specific amount of money into a piggy bank.
The child may choose activities requiring same coins,
two coins, three coins, or four coins.
